Wine rich purple color.
The taste of wine is soft, with medium acidity and well-structured tannins, notes of plum and charred wood. The finish is long and harmonious.
The aroma is dominated by bright notes of plums, black berries, cherries and raspberries, the nuances of roasted cocoa beans, graphite, exotic herbs.

Wine Yatir, Red Wine is made from four varieties of grapes grown in the vineyard, planted in 1964 near the forest Yatir at Hebron Hills in the northern Negev. This area refers to the wine region Judean Hills. The plot is divided into an altitude of about 900 meters above sea level. Vineyard soil mainly calcareous-clay. The grapes are harvested by hand. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for 12 months in small, mainly French, oak barrels, a third of which is updated annually. Wine storage capacity of 5-10 years. Small winery Yatir was founded in 2000 as a joint venture winegrowers area Judean Hills and the winery Carmel Winery. Yatir Winery is located in the northeastern part of the Negev desert. The building was constructed at the foot of the famous archaeological site of Tel Arad with the ruins of the Canaanite city 3000 years ago.
