Reviews of purchase Winzerhof Sax, Chardonnay, 2011
Wine of light yellow color with golden patches of light.
The dry taste of wine is characterized by refreshing acidity, elegant structure and a long, subtle aftertaste.
The spicy aroma of wine is made up of apple tones, young almonds, minerals, acacia honey and candied fruits.
Wine is served with asparagus, mushroom and risotto dishes.
Winzerhof Sax, Chardonnay demonstrates the characteristics of the international variety of Chardonnay grapes from the best side due to the suitable composition of the soil. Its taste symbolizes love of nature, the joy of creativity and, at the same time, prudence in the conduct of the economy. The harvested crop is gently compressed on a pneumatic unit, and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The potential of wine is 2-4 years.
The Sachs family is the custodian of ancient wine-making traditions, rooted in 1660. At its disposal today are 25 hectares of vineyards in the region of Kamptal. Here, the mild climate and the original composition of soils, containing crushed stone and loess, make it possible to achieve expressive bouquet and healthy acidity in wines. Many wine critics are delighted with the traditional white Grüner Wetlinger and Riesling wines, as well as the elegant Chardonnay.
Thanks to the enthusiasm of Rudolf Sachs and his desire to achieve the highest quality, the technological equipment of the winery Winzerhof Sax is constantly updated, but in many processes, wherever possible, manual labor is used.
