Company founder William Riddell & Sons, William Riddell, was a merchant, but since my childhood dream was to create a unique blend of whiskey recipe. In search of the best malt and grain whiskeys that have formed the basis of the blend, William traveled to his native Scotland. Thus was born the recipe upscale whiskey, consisting of a mixture of selected malt and grain Scotch whiskey from Speyside, Highlands and islands of Islay.
Sherry cask 8 years old matures in barrels made of American oak tempered at least 8 years, acquiring amber color, a fine aroma and taste. Especially the production of Sherry Cask is an additional 6-month aging in oak barrels of Oloroso sherry, thereby providing a unique drink with a distinctive aroma and a warm, rich fruit flavors.
