Reviews of purchase Weingut von Winning, Pinot Noir II, 2014
The wine is a delicate red with a purple hue.
The taste of the wine is pleasant and juicy, sweetish and round, clean and fresh, reveals a generous notes of ripe red berries and fruits, harmoniously combined with the nuances of mocha and oak wood. The finish is long, with nuances of spices.
Aromatic bouquet of wine is replete with notes of cherry and strawberry, light earth tones and nuances of minerals.
The wine will make an excellent pair of white meat dishes with spicy sauce, roast chicken and a variety of salads.
Pinot Noir for the manufacture of dry red wine Weingut von Winning, Pinot Noir II, "younger brother" Pinot Noir I, goes to the winery company from the vineyards Deidesheimer Herrgottsacker and Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad. Over its creation works enologist Stefan Attmann. Crop harvested by hand, then sorted and subjected to spontaneous fermentation in open wooden barrels. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the barriques. After aging the wine is bottled without filtration.
In 1849, Dr. Andre Dainhard founded the eponymous winery, which since 1907 bears the name of his successor and son-in-law, Leopold Von Wining. Both of them were at the source of the Association of German winemakers Verband der Deutschen Pradikatsweinguter. The vineyards of Von Winning are located in three areas of the Palatinate region - Rupperttsberg, Deidesheim and Forst. Today the company is headed by Stefan Attman, who focused her activities on the principles of sustainable agriculture in order to go hand in hand with nature. All wines are fermented spontaneously on natural yeast, and their processing is reduced to the required minimum.
"We do not do anything new, but only revive the forgotten traditions." Discover the living, beautiful, unique wines as they were in the past! " - Stefan Attman.
