Tasting Notes
Wine dense dark ruby color with garnet hue.
The wine has a harmonious, fresh taste with moderate acidity and velvety, sweet, tart finish.
The wine has an intense aroma with notes of fresh grapes, blackberries, black currants and cherries.
The wine goes well with meat dishes (especially lamb) sweet and sour sauce and mature cheeses.
Interesting Facts
Semi-sweet red wine "Voskevaz" is made from two grape varieties - Hakhtanak and Kakheti, grown in Aragatsotn region of Armenia. Harvesting was carried out in the first half of October. Excerpt held not less than 6 months in stainless steel vats, which resulted born harmonious, natural sweet wine with a rich dark color, wonderful aroma and refreshing taste.
Voskevazsky Winery - this old company, whose history goes back centuries. In the vineyards located in different regions of Armenia, grow gorgeous grapes Kakheti and Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, pink Muscat, Muscat Vardabuyr, Hakhtanak, Mskhali and cultivated Voskehat (Harjit) - a rare, one of the oldest grape varieties. The age of some vineyards is 120 years old. The total area of vineyards farming - 124 hectares.
In 2004, all production equipment was modernized winery appeared Italian line processing Enoweneta, bottling lines GAI, oak barrels Seguin Moreau. All these wonders of modern technology allowed to achieve the highest quality standards, and cooperation with talented winemakers allowed to develop hereditary line of majestic wines "Chateau Voskevaz" ("Chateau Voskevaz") .
