"Voskeni" White Dry - very interesting white wine made from indigenous grape varieties of Armenian, including ancient varieties Voskehat. The history of the family winery "Voskeni" began in the 20s of XX century. The company's founder - Smbat Mateossyan - before the start of the First World War left the United States, where he became a successful entrepreneur, but then he returned to his home in Armenia, where he founded the vineyards near the village of Sardarapat, Armavir region. The very first wine Smbat, released under the name "Voskeni" enjoyed success, but unfortunately, the master was arrested, and his work has stopped for many years. Only in 2008 the heirs Mateossyana bought the family vineyards and winery restored. Today, the project run by grandchildren Smbat, producing excellent wines "Voskeni" labels which shows their great-grandfather.
On the vineyard farm "Voskeni", which occupies 22 hectares, is grown only autochthonous grape varieties: rare white varieties Voskehat Dmak and Haran, and the main red variety autochthonous Armenian - Areni Noir.
