"Croix Milhas" Maury - red sweet liqueur wine from Grenache grapes, harvested in the vineyards of the appellation Mori. They are located to the north of the plain of Roussillon, in the natural corridor formed by the valley of the Agli. Local soils consist of marl slates, the climate is characterized by dryness and high air temperature. In such conditions, the vines give the ripest, ripe berries as much as possible.
Grapes for wine making "Croix Miyas" Mori is made by hand, after which it is gently squeezed and 15 days of maceration pass. At this stage, the future wine is strengthened with alcohol. Ripening of wine is carried out in stainless sealed tanks.
"Croix Milhas" Maury is characterized by intense color and concentrated aroma with rich tones of red and black berries. Its taste is juicy and structured, with a somewhat spicy finale. This wine is recommended to serve with desserts based on chocolate and red fruits, including chocolate eclairs. It will also form an unusual combination with stewed duck with figs, pears in red wine with oriental spices and lobster dishes.
