Reviews of purchase Vidal-Fleury, Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC Rouge, 2013
Wine of deep, dark ruby red color.
The wine has a fresh taste with notes of Grenache enveloped tannins, balanced acidity surprisingly, with dominant fruit tones, enhanced hints of spice and cocoa.
The aroma of wine is a refined mixture of tones of fresh fruits, strawberries and plums, pepper and nutmeg, with smoky notes to complete.
Wine wonderfully suited to poultry dishes, especially cooked with sauce on a wine basis, using olive oil and spices (such as curry, ginger). Undoubtedly, the wine goes well with red meats and cheeses.
