"Valldosera" Cava Brut Nature - exquisite natural sparkling Kava, which is produced at the winery Finca Valldosera. The grapes for its production is grown mainly on clay soil. Hot and humid summer, sunny and cool September provide winemakers with an excellent harvest. Vinification takes place in accordance with traditional methods, as in Champagne, but using traditional grape varieties for the region: Charello, Macabeo, Parellada, Chardonnay, as well as a small percentage of Subirat Parent, also known as Malvasia, which makes wine difficult and round. Each grape variety is processed separately, and only then the mixture undergoes fermentation. Kava is aged for more than 2 years in bottles.
Valldoser Kava Brut Natur has received a number of awards and prestigious awards, including the medal at the International Wine Challenge, 2008. "Guide Penin of the Best Wines of Spain, 2013" rated Cava at 88 points out of 100, "50 Great Cavas, 2012" at 91 points, "The Globe & Mail" (Canada) at 91 points.
Finca Valldosera is a family-owned winery founded by Enrique Valldoser in the 1980s. The winery is located in one of the oldest country estates of the XV century in the municipality of Olendola. The landscape of the surroundings is of great value, here the vineyards intersect with deciduous forests. The company produces Cava and still wines from grapes grown in its own vineyards, which are located in the heart of the Massif del Garraf.
