The wine has a rich, varietal aroma, woven with notes of raspberries, currants and blackberries, complemented by subtle nuances of licorice.
The wine goes well with grilled red meat, Provencal lamb and hard cheeses.
"Jardin Fleury" Syrah - a soft red dry wine with a rounded taste and silky texture, made from Syrah grapes, which is grown in the company's vineyards in Languedoc-Roussillon, one of the largest wine-growing regions in France. The name covers a wide range of terrain, from the southern mountain ranges of the Massif Central to the coastal plains of the Camargue, crossed by rivers. The region has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. Most of the rainfall occurs in spring and autumn. Dry continental winds from the northwest bring a saving coolness, and also reduce the pressure of diseases of the vines. Warm winds from the south bring life-giving rains. However, the variety of terroirs in this region is very great, which allowed many grape varieties to be found here. In general, the geoclimatic conditions of the region are very favorable for the cultivation of grapes. Syrah produces extremely complex and multifaceted wines, while showing the characteristics of the terroir. The grapes for the Jardan Fleury wine are harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. The wine is vinified according to the traditional method of making red dry wines. Extract of wine on the lees lasts at least 6 months. "Jardin Fleury" Syrah is harmoniously combined with grilled red meat, Provencal lamb and hard cheeses.
