Reviews of purchase Torre Oria, Cava Brut DO
The wine is pale yellow with a golden tinge.
The wine has a refreshing, perfectly balanced taste with pronounced shades of ripe peach, notes of citrus, banana and nuances of bread crust in a pleasant aftertaste.
The aroma of wine reveals exquisite notes of wildflowers, into which the shades of yellow fruits are harmoniously intertwined.
Sparkling wine is great as an aperitif, and also perfectly matches with dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, fish, white meat, pasta, risotto and salads.
Torre Oria, Cava Brut is a white sparkling wine that is produced from the best quality Macabeo grapes, which is carefully selected. Kava is made traditional for champagne wines. Secondary fermentation of wine is carried out in a bottle, followed by aging on the sediment for 10 months in the historic cellars of the Torre Oriú estate.
Sparkling wine Torre Oriia, Cava Brut is good to eat as an aperitif, and it will also make up a harmonious pair of Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, fish, white meat, pasta, risotto and salads.
The founder of the winery Torre Oria is the family of Oriya de Rueda, who moved in 1897 from the north of Spain to the town of Requena in Valencia. At that time, this area was an industrial center for the production of silk. Upon arrival, the members of the Oriya family began the construction of a luxurious villa, which was named Villa Inigo. The project of the mansion was designed by the famous architect of Valencia, Jose Donderis. Subsequently, a winery was built here, on which wines were made for own use. Its name Torre Oria ("Oriya Tower") farm was received thanks to a tower of white stone with a beautiful dome, which became the symbol of the estate.
In 1954, the heirs of the family decided to sell all property. After some time, the estate had several owners. One of the owners was an oenologist, had good experience in the French region of Champagne and was an expert in the production of sparkling wines. His appearance was an incentive and a push for all the other owners of the winery to begin production of Kava. In the first batch, 30,000 bottles were produced. Due to the hard work of all members of the winery in 1993, the Torre Oria was the first enterprise in Spain to be officially allowed to produce controlled-type wines outside their historic homeland.
In 2013, the winery Torre Oria was acquired by Vintes Wines , thanks to which it became possible to develop the brand in international markets. Today the company is one of the most promising enterprises in the region.
