"Terra Initia" wine Kisi is a part of the collection of Georgian wines "Terra Initya", whose name in Latin means "original land" and indicates the recognition of Georgia as the country where the world's winemaking was born. The labels of the wines of the ruler depict a whale, the oldest of animals, a symbol of power and rebirth.
The idea of the non- commissioned project "Terra Initia" is to present wines that can convey the true spirit of Georgia, the beauty of its terroirs and the organoleptic of autochthonous varieties. The project is managed by the chief winemaker David Maisuradze, who annually selects the top 10 wines from the iconic Georgian producers from the regions of Kakheti and Racha-Lechkhumi. The line includes both terroir wines (Tsinandali, Mukuzani, Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkara), and mono-sort (Cisi, Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli and Saperavi). Also in the collection are two semisweet wines "Banovani", which is translated from Georgian as "aristocrat". This is the author's wine, created personally by David Maisuradze, to show how uncommon and subtle the semi-sweet wines of Kakheti can be.
Filling wine is carried out at the high-tech factory Kindzmarauli Marani . This enterprise is the official bot-ter of the project "Terra Initia", as it is equipped with modern Italian and German equipment and meets the highest requirements of wine production.
Company "Kindzmarauli Marani" built a plant for the production of red and white wines and chacha in the famous wine region of Kakheti in the village Kindzmarauli in 2005. The plant is fully equipped with ultra-modern special equipment of Italian companies "Fimmer" and "Della Toffola". Laboratory of Plant, which allows any analyzes of wine, grape juice and water works on the equipment of the German company "Gravitech". High-quality oak barrels for aging beverages are provided by the French firm "Radoux". The equipment for the production of grape drink is by far the most modern.
Today, a wide range of "Kindzmarauli Marani" presented spirits (chacha) and 23 kinds of wines, among them - exclusive brands "Tsarskoye Kakheti" and "Kindzmarauli original." The company has developed a unique production technology with centuries-old traditions of winemaking and Kakheti ancient grape varieties.
