Reviews of purchase Tenuta di Biserno, "Lodovico", Toscana IGT, 2008
Wine of deep ruby-purple color.
Taste wine luxurious, rich, concentrated, perfectly balanced, with velvety texture, notes of black currant and dark wild berries, fine-grained tannins, ripe, fresh acidity and a long finish.
The wine has a complex, rich flavor with hints of Mediterranean herbs (savory), dark chocolate, black cherry and licorice, plum compote, complemented by oak and spicy nuances.
The wine will be the perfect pair of artisan meats, game and mature cheeses.
"Lodovico" - a rare, unique and seductive at the outset, richly textured wine from Tenuta di Biserno, available in very limited quantities. The wine is made from a blend of four grape varieties that grow in the vineyard, planted in 2004 on the border of Bolgheri. The soil of the vineyard - a complex, rich in minerals, consisting of clay, silt and alluvial sands. Harvesting is done manually from mid-September to early October in boxes of 15 kg. Grapes are carefully sorted on a vibrating belt, then destebliruetsya and subjected to soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts for 3-4 weeks at 28 ° C. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the barrel part (50%), partially - in steel tanks (50%). Wine is aged 18 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in bottles. At the peak of ripeness vintage 2008 will be from 2014 to 2028.
