Reviews of purchase Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti Montalbano DOCG, 2011
Wine of intense ruby red color.
The wine has volume, harmonious, elegant, fairly mild flavor with a fine texture, velvety tannins, juicy notes of dark fruit and a hint of vanilla. Wine has a pleasant long aftertaste.
Sleek, durable bouquet of the wine is filled with warm aromas of red berries with a dominant cherry rim of the notes of flowers, tobacco and herbs.
Wine is great for tracking meat grilled veal carpaccio, meats and game. It also serves pasta and aged cheeses.
