Whisky Strathisla 1967, 0.7 L
Reviews of purchase Strathisla 1967, 0.7 L
Color whiskey golden brown.
Whiskey tastes like sherry and smoky oak notes; also felt shades of grass and molasses.
Whiskey has aromas with subtle hints of sherry menthol, marmalade and Seville oranges.
Whiskey "Stratayla" is especially good in combination with a cigar. Lovely digestif.
Strathisla - the oldest distillery in the north of Scotland, located in Keith on the River Isla, which began its history in 1786 under the name of Milltown (Milltown) and since then never interrupt the production process. Its founder, George Taylor, a successful businessman, invested in a distillery as an alternative to cease from yielding good profits flax factory. Throughout his long life Strathisla repeatedly changed owners, changed its name and returns to the old. Since 1949, when it passed into the hands of the current owners, the distillery was renamed again Strathisla. Today it is one of the best distilleries producing malt whiskey in the Speyside.
Bunch of this magnificent drink made of delicate mineral, herbal, mint flavors with hints of meadow flowers and sage. Cigarette tobacco and a pair of eucalyptus. Aromas of oak groves. Kamforovoe butter and marzipan. Excellent classic taste.
