Producer's description
The winemaking estate Spasibenko Winery was founded more than 30 years ago. Its founder, Vladimir Spasibenko, with extensive experience in this field, significantly increased the area of vineyards. In 2022, he, together with his son, Nikolai, started his own winemaking project, focused on small "garage" production.
The history of the farm begins with the work of the grandfather, Nikolai Grigorievich Spasibenko, who was the first to grow grapes. Today, the area of vineyards is 22 hectares, located near the village of Sennoy. In 2022, 5,000 bottles of wine were produced, and in 2023 it is planned to increase the production volume to 18,000 bottles and expand the range to 8-10 items. The farm cultivates such grape varieties as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio.
