Red dry wine "Male" Syrah is made from Syra grapes with the addition of Petit Shiraz, Murvedr, Vionje and Touriga Nacional. The history of Sine Qua Non began in 1994, when Austrian emigrant Manfred Crankle arrived in California and became the owner of a modest bakery. Settled in California, he got only the second attempt, and the confectionery did not bring a big profit. Then they and their wife had a new hobby - to make wine with their own hands and treat them to friends. One of the friends was very fond of the wine that Manfred was making, and he wished to buy it. The first vintage called "The Queen of Spades" was released in limited quantities and made a real sensation. The label with engraving was made by the owner himself, using a special method. So, the hobby turned into a profession. "We wanted to make a truly delicious and unique wine, different from all others, for true connoisseurs," - say Manfred Crankle and his wife Elaine.
Wine farm blue Non Kwa today and are available in a limited edition, and his thirst for lovers and collectors around the world. Therefore, there is a special waiting list, to which anyone can enter. Each bottle and each label is still manufactured by Manfred himself using the linocut method. Great winemaker Robert Parker, visiting the winery, then located in the backyard of one of the industrial facilities, found the situation there similar to the scenery from the movie "Mad Max." But this did not prevent to assign high ratings of 96 points to the wines of the economy.
