Plum brandy - strong drink is traditional for the Serbian people. It is served on all holidays and feasts they celebrate important family events and commemorate the deceased. For its preparation using ripe plums, not separating them from seed. They pressed and left to ferment in their own yeasts. Fermentation occurs in special stainless steel tanks - fermenters. It must take place as slowly as possible in order to save valuable aromatics. Then double brandy "baked" (distilled) with a copper alambika, diluted with water to the desired strength and filtered. The resulting alcohol 6-8 weeks fruit stored in containers made of stainless steel to bottling. When a table is recommended brandy cooled to 15 ° C and pour into a special small stack with a narrow neck of no more than 50 ml.
