A series of "Gran Reserva" is the wines that are aged in special cellars farm near the capital Santiago. As they say themselves winemakers economy: "These wines - the embodiment of tradition and living heritage of history, which goes back 137 years." To create the "Gran Reserva" Chardonnay 90% grapes grown in Casablanca Valley, which is considered one of the youngest wine-making regions in Chile. Vineyards are located not far from the Pacific Ocean, which gives terroir cool morning breezes, moderate temperature and humidity necessary. Such a climate, combined with soils rich in granite, ensures a long period of ripening grapes and low yields. Another 10% of the harvest to create a wine comes from the Valley of the Limar, ideal for growing Chardonnay. Vinification involves alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels and aging for 9 months. For the maturation of the wine used both new and already serving this barrel. This nuance ensures "Gran Reserva" Chardonnay particularly complex structure and taste.
