Reviews of purchase Salon, ''S'' Brut Blanc de Blancs, 1997
Champagne pale yellow color with a pearly sheen.
Champagne has a clean, perfectly balanced, silky taste with dominant notes of green apple, hazelnut, pastries and bread crust.
In the small, complex flavors of champagne appear intriguing colors of white flowers, acacia and hawthorn, supplemented with mineral nuances.
Champagne will be a great aperitif, accompaniment to the exquisite dishes, seafood, oysters, caviar, snacks.
Vintage 1997 is of particular subtlety and richness, depth and elegance. Winter-spring of this year were characterized by harmoniously alternating cool and mild weather. Grape harvest began on 22 September, after the dry hot summer, ensure good ripening.
Company "Salon" was founded by Eugène-Aimé Salon (Eugene-Aime Salon) at the beginning of the XX century. Salon was convinced that from Chardonnay grapes from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger can produce refined and elegant wine, a blend that does not need to add Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The first commercial vintage champagne "Salon" was released in 1921, by 2006 the company released only 37 wines under the brand name "Salon". After the death of Eugène-Aimé Salon in 1943, the company was inherited by his sister, who eventually sold by the famous House of Laurent-Perrier in 1989.
