Interesting Facts
Red dry Japanese wine Chuo Budosu Co, "Akeno" is made in European style from grapes Merlot (39%), Cabernet Sauvignon (35%), Petit Verdot (14%) and Cabernet Franc (12%). The berries are grown biodynamically in the winery's own vineyard "Misawa", which is located in the commune of Akeno at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The grapes undergo a careful double sorting: on the vine, when harvested by hand, and at the winery. Each variety is fermented separately. Alcoholic fermentation begins spontaneously with the participation of only natural yeast. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
