Wine golden-yellow color.
The taste of wine is well balanced, very harmonious, with subtle notes of spice and honey, to the developing truffles and candied fruits.
The aroma of wine slightly minerally, with floral touches of honeysuckle and lily, exotic fruits (litchi), mandarins and white truffle.
Wine in perfect harmony with chanterelles, fried or marinated salmon with herbs, pike fillets, chicken, ratatouille with saffron.

Name Chapoutier present in the Rhône Valley since 1808 year. Distant ancestor Chapoutier - Polydor was the first who began to buy vines, becoming not just a winegrower but wine producer and businessman. The current president of the Wine House - Michel Chapoutier - a representative of the seventh generation of the family, a person charismatic and energetic, curious and visionary. Before becoming a winemaker, Michel traveled. During these visits, he carefully studied the diversity, richness and subtlety of wine. In his farm he managed to combine this knowledge with the rich traditions of the family.
Wine Saint Joseph Les Granits Blanc consistently gets high marks experts and wine critics. But the vintage of 2006 exceeded all expectations. According to the "Wine Advocate": "it is absolutely amazing, amazing wine that is superior to many Grand Cru white Burgundy." It granite soil is saturated with wine floral and mineral notes. The grapes are harvested by hand in a period of very good maturity. The gestation period lasts 8-10 months.

At the moment M. Shaputier owns one of the most prestigious estates in the Rhone Valley. Wines are produced in the appellations of the Hermitage, Croz Hermitage, Cote Roti, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Trikasten. The largest estate of the family Shaputier is in the Hermitage. In addition, the household of Shaputier keeps under control the production and sale of wines in the appellation Kornas, Saint-Perey, Muscat de Bom-de-Veniz, Côte-du-Rhône Vilage and Tavel. Michelle Shapoutier, who became head of the company in 1990, regards as his most significant achievement the transition to biodynamic methods of working in vineyards, since they are the ones that best allow us to reflect the qualitative characteristics of terroirs. M. Chapoutier wines repeatedly won the highest score of 100 points in the ranking of the famous wine critic Robert Parker.
