Interesting Facts
Chapoutier produces luxury cuvee, grapes which are harvested from very old vines, yielding very small harvests. In order to achieve this in 1988 and 1989, the vineyards were subjected to severe pruning, and conducted several so-called "green fee". Chapoutier sees its goal to bring to the fore in the wines characteristics of the soil and vines, which is why most of them are made from only one grape variety. For aging wines currently used small oak barrels before bottling and are not produced filtration and clarification.
