Tasting Notes
Color
It has a rich red color.
Taste
Sagana 2006 - sredneteloe wine in a thin and elegant bouquet of which are felt notes of blackberry, black currant and raspberry, a slight tinge of spice and soft tannins. Long pleasant aftertaste.
Aroma
In the fresh scent of floral tones mixed with notes of berries and dried fruits.
Gastronomy
Best suited to dishes of meat, game and poultry. Also encouraged to apply to the paella, risotto, as a perfect snack cheese and cold cuts.
Interesting Facts
The owners of the company Cusumano - Alberto and Diego, with deep knowledge of the territory of Sicily, is under their vineyards precisely those areas where the different grape varieties can reach their full potential. In particular Sagana is made of only one type - Nero d'Avola, which gives the wine a wonderful deep flavor. Fermentation and aging Sagana is made within 12 months in oak barrels. Drinking wine can be directly, but it has a long storage potential.
