Wine of pale straw color with a golden rim.
The taste of wine is delicate, perfectly balanced, sweetish, fruity, with tones of exotic fruits, peach and citrus, smoothly turning into a long, pleasant aftertaste.
Bright, rich aroma reveals tones of peach, mango, ginger and floral notes.
Wine is recommended to serve to foie gras, dishes of exotic cuisine, various cheeses, especially Münster or Epuas.

The average age of the vine is 49 years. Harvested by hand. For the vintage of 2016 , the harvest was made on November 15th. Berries are sorted and subjected to slow fermentation, and then - aging on a fine draft. Extract is carried out partly in stainless steel vats, partly in large wooden barrels. The potential of the wine is over 20 years.
Rene Mure - one of the oldest manufacturers of Alsace. The history of the company began in 1648. The founder of the company and the first manager was Michel Muret, who lived not far from Ruffach and started viticulture. The main stage in the development of those years was the acquisition of 15 hectares of the Clos Saint-Landel vineyard, named after the Irish monk-martyr Landel (now the company is the exclusive owner of this land). The vineyards are located near the town of Ruffs in the south of Alsace. This is a very favorable area with clay-limestone soil with a high content of stones. The average age of the vines is about 45 years. Thanks to the Vosges mountains that surround it, it is reliably protected from rain and westerly winds. That is why there is low rainfall and very sunny. The vineyard area is just over 22 hectares. Today it includes all the necessary grape varieties - Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
Today Domain René Muret is a member of the Domaine du Clos St. Landelin, being its main part. Wine is produced both from its own vineyards, located near the zones Vorbourg, Zinnkoepfle, Schulzengass and Lutzeltal, and from grapes that are purchased from the growers of the Ruffach region.
