"Rapitala" Grillo - elegant Italian wine, perfectly displaying features of its terroir. Vine varieties Grillo, which is called the "root" of the Sicilian grapes grown on clay and sandy soils at an altitude of 300-500 meters above sea level and give a small crop. The grapes are harvested in early September when the berries reached full maturity. At the winery the grapes exposed to tumble dry low and slowly fermented at a controlled temperature.
Wine producer - Sicilian farm Tenuta Rapitala (in Arabic - "river of God"), founded in 1971 by Count Bernard Ugonis della Gatine. The ideal climatic conditions for growing here as autochthonous and international grape varieties from which the elegant wine with a luxurious bouquet. The owner of the company has upgraded cellars and wineries, which were almost completely destroyed during the earthquake in Belice Valley. Tenuta Rapitala philosophy is that wine should only be of excellent quality and perfectly created, but most importantly their individuality and uniqueness, clearly reflects the exclusivity of its terroir.
