Reviews of purchase "Rapitala" Bianco, Sicilia DOC, 2015
The wine is straw-gold color.
The wine has a well-structured, fresh and balanced taste with a pleasant aftertaste.
In a complex, complex bouquet of wine aromas of fruit combined with hints of flowers.
Wine will be a decent pair of snacks, hot flavored dishes, noble fish and white meat. Good as an aperitif.
"Rapitala" Catarratto-Chardonnay - an unusual, modern wine, which is a merger of two grown in the beautiful Sicilian climate grape varieties: traditional Sicilian Prince Katarrato and international varieties - Chardonnay. As a result of this union was born a beautiful fresh wine, giving a great unforgettable pleasure.
The grapes for "Rapitala" Katarrato-Chardonnay is grown in some areas with limited yields, planted at an altitude of 300-550 meters above sea level on clay and sandy soils. Grapes ripen at different times: Katarrato - in mid-September, Chardonnay - in early August. Separate vinification varieties carried out by the same classic technology. The fragmentation of the grapes is cooled, gently pressed, then made cold decantation and fermentation at a controlled temperature. A portion of Chardonnay goes fermentation in barrels, the rest of the grapes (Chardonnay and the remaining part Katarrato), waiting for bottling, aged in steel tanks.
