Producer's description
Antica Distilleria Quaglia , based in Castelnuovo-Don-Bosco (Asti Province, Piedmont), was founded at the very beginning of the 20th century, in 1906, when Giuseppe Cuaglia bought a local plant, expanded it, drilled wells for water supply and installed a steam boiler. In 1930, the company’s business was continued by the son of Giuseppe - Carlo, who, under the able guidance of his father, studied the secrets of distillation, improved and modernized the bottling department, significantly increased production capacity and hired 35 employees. In 1967, the third generation of distillers joined the company, following the family tradition. During these years, Antika Distillery Quaglia, along with traditional drinks, began producing refined monosort grappa. Currently, the plant is managed by a young Carlo, great-grandson of Giuseppe, who enthusiastically devotes himself to work, bringing new ideas and energy, enriching the range of products with original specialties, using the best raw materials of natural origin. Thus, the company is able to fully meet the needs of customers by offering products that embody the highest quality.
