Appellason St. Estephe has 1,378 hectares of vineyards, mostly Crus Bourgeois. Chateau Me, which was known in the 18th century as the Prieure de Couleys, located in the heart of the vineyard, covering 123 acres. The soil is composed of layers of rocks and gravel, which readily absorb water, providing ideal conditions for varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. In addition, the soil has a vineyard in its bosom the original element in the form of a strip of blue clay.
Prieur de Menezes is the second wine of Chateau Mene. Prieur de Menezes made with the same care as the first wine, using similar mixtures only with younger vines - the average age of 15-20 years.
