Interesting Facts
"Pomerol de Beauregard" is a red dry wine made from grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc, grown in the appellation Pomrol. Located on the north-east of the Libourne border, Pomol is the smallest appellation of the magnificent Bordeaux wine region - only 750 hectares of vines. Exclusive soil, consisting of a layer of dense black clay with a large amount of iron, promotes the cultivation of the best Merlot, the royal variety of the region. The standards of wine production in Pomorle are very high, which affects the exceptional quality, taste and aroma of the wine.
For the work in the Chateau Boregar vineyards, traditional methods are used, which makes it possible to obtain a mature grapes with concentrated aroma, excellent tannins and, consequently, to create a more stylish and complex wine with a vivid expression of the terroir. Harvest is collected manually after the berries reach optimal ripeness and are carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C in stainless steel vats. After that, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 16-24 months. The storage capacity of Pomol de Beauregard is 6 years.
