The wine is dark ruby color.
The wine has a rich, rich, thick consistency with the perfect balance of taste, slight acidity, velvety tannins and a long finish.

The wine goes well with red meat, cheese.
"Mandrone di Lohsa", first made in 2001 - a powerful but elegant wine, which is obtained mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with a small, but necessary to improve the taste and aroma addition in the form of varieties Alicante and Petit Verdot. The last two grades are important, as attached "Mandrone" Mediterranean character traits - clean, sunny, beautiful structure, which makes this wine unique and unmistakable.
Vineyards area of 9 hectares on which grow grapes for wine "Mandrone di Vine" are the southern and south-western exposure and is located at an altitude of 100 meters above sea level. Soil type - sloping, skeletal, marly-sandy. After maturation of the grapes are harvested in boxes manually. Vinification process is to separate the fermentation of each grape variety. Maceration takes 20-25 days (depending on variety and phenolic ripeness of the grapes) at a controlled temperature, and automated equipment is used, in which all of the wort fermentation tank flows naturally in the reserve tank located below. Then the wine is matured for 18 months in new French oak barrels, followed by aging for 6 months in the bottle. Wine storage capacity of 15 or more years.
Family winery Poliziano named in honor of a talented poet, humanist scholar and brilliant expert on ancient literature Ambrogini Angelo, known as Poliziano. The ancestor of the family winemaking is Dino Carletti, who in 1961 bought 22 acres of land in the municipality of Montepulciano. He planted the first vineyards here, this act came from the depths of his soul and was dictated by emotion rather than economic expediency. Son Dino Carletti - Federico - present owner of Poliziano, as a specialist firms and having experience in the field of agriculture in Northern Italy, in 1980 firmly set to work in his own company, using their knowledge. Federico Carletti adheres to the work of several rules - courage, creativity and cutting-edge technology.
