"Po de Poeira" Tinto reflects the passion of its founder, Jorge Moreyra enologist to produce stunning Portuguese wines. Trying to give each wine is not just a unique taste, but also your personal, Jorge refers to wines not only as to the products, but also as an opportunity to tell everyone about his interpretation of the Douro wines. Carefully monitoring the whole process of making wine from vines landing to bottling, Jorge Moreyra created "in de Poeyra" Tinto. The wine has a rich flavor with a pronounced fruit and berry theme and excellent tannins, shows a lush bouquet of rich flavors and will surprise you with excellent drinkability.
Jorge Moreira - a young but very talented oenologist, at the time of labor in the well-known Portuguese company Companhia Velha, and since 2002 he worked as chief oenologist at Quinta de la Rosa. In 2001 he started his own project Quinta do Poeira. The farm is located in Provesende, on the right bank of the river Pina, and has 9 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive gardens and 3 hectares of forest. The basis for the winery was the old dilapidated building, which has been carefully restored. Jorge produces wine in a minimalist style - four traditional stone vats used for the extraction of the old vertical press, and the shutter speed takes place in a thick-walled cellar shale. The whole process of wine passes slowly and gently in order to preserve the taste of terroir expression.
