"Terres d'Artagnan" Rouge is a red dry wine made from grape varieties Merlot, Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are grown in the South-West of France, on mixed sandy-carbonate soils, which provides fine mineral wine. The proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and, as a consequence, the cool climate in the vineyard promotes the slow maturation of fruits, from which in the future very fragrant wines are obtained. Fermentation and aging in steel tanks allows you to preserve the vivid fruity and rich aromatic profile in wine.
Nowadays winemaking heritage of this area has been strengthened under the leadership of Andre Dubosquet. In 1979, he and a group of enthusiastic winemakers created the company Plaimont, whose philosophy is based on the principle of respect for the traditions of wine-making region. By cultivating local grape varieties, the company has acquired several plots of running to restore the famous vineyards of Saint-Mont. Improving grape quality has made regional wines more fragrant and interesting, which could not but attract the attention of buyers.
Vineyards company Pleymon located on 795 acres of fertile land, which lies halfway between the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Pyrenees in the south. The climate combines the presence of cold nights and hot days. These conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly and in particular contribute to the development of natural acidity in the local indigenous varieties (Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, Gros Mans, Petit Muncie, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc).
Today the company Pleymon produces both red and white wines using only manual harvesting. Wine companies are represented in France and abroad for over 30 years and regularly receive awards.
