Tasting Notes
The wine is light golden color.
A full-bodied wine with a fresh, balanced flavor with rich tones of fruit and minerals and is not prevalent woody notes. The finish is long, fragrant.
Elegant, refined, but intense aroma of the wine reveals hints of sweet fruit, spices and balsamic nuances.
The wine will be an excellent party poultry dishes with cream sauce, pork, oily fish (salmon, tuna) and cheeses average degree of exposure.

"Piodilei" - an elegant, buttery wine, aged in oak barrels. Pio Cesare economy has a special section on the estate "Il Bricco" in Treiso. This is the first vineyard Pio family, which in 1980 were planted Chardonnay vines. After collecting the harvest goes for fermentation into new French oak barrels Allier. Lees aging in oak barrels lasts 10 months, then the wine matures in bottles for six months. This pleasant wine has good storage potential in 6-8 years.
