Barbaresco - wine from the classic line of Pio Cesare economy. The grapes for the production of its exclusive rights comes from the best vineyards in the region - "Il brick" and "San Stefanetto" that grow in the commune of Treiso. Berries are subjected to careful selection and careful spinning. Maceration and fermentation process lasts 20 days under strictly controlled temperature. 35% of the wine aged for 30 months in small oak barriques of French oak, one third of which - new. The rest of the wine is aged for 3 years in oak barrels.
Pio Cesare winery was founded in 1881.
