Tasting Notes
Brilliant golden yellow color.
The wine has a rich, full-bodied taste with notes of fruit, excellent balance and exquisite subtlety.
The wine has a pleasant, fresh floral aroma with notes of very ripe fruit - apricots, mango, quince.
The wine goes well with foie gras, spicy dishes of Oriental cuisine and white meat in a creamy sauce.
Interesting Facts
Pinot Gris de Gran Selekson Noble - a sweet white wine made from grapes of the late Grand Cru vineyards "Osterberg" (Osterberg) in Ribeauvillé, the average age of the vines is 30 years. This wine has a rich and rare than the famous Vandazh Tardy (wine from late harvest grapes). The grapes for Pinot Gris de Gran Selekson Noble collected only in ideal weather conditions, when the berries affected by "noble rot" (botrisom) are harvested by hand, literally one after the other.
Trimbach - the most prestigious wine producer in Alsace. This farm has existed since 1626. Today the family business run by Hubert and Bernard Trimbach, actively participate in the affairs of the younger members of the family, Jean and Pierre.
