Reviews of purchase Pierre Gimonnet & Fils, Extra Brut "Oenophile" 1-er Cru, Champagne AOC, 2012
Champagne luxury golden straw color with a thin perlyazhem.
Rounded, silky, perfectly balanced taste of champagne - an explosion of notes of pears and white peaches, complemented by nuances Brioschi buns, which are replaced by the seductive tannins, which fades into the magical light sweetish aftertaste with accents.
Champagne has a delicious aroma, in which notes of ripe autumn fruits, citrus peel, litchi and quince are woven with floral nuances of meadow flowers, in particular, daisies and buttercups.
Champagne perfectly pure as an aperitif. It is also fed to shrimp, oysters, mussels, crustaceans, fish, white meat or as an accompaniment to spicy dishes of Thai or Indian cuisine. The wine also goes well with a variety of nut desserts.
"Special Club" Grands Terroirs de Chardonnay - delicious champagne, demonstrating the purity and elegance of taste. It is made of hand-picked selected grape varieties Chardonnay. Most of the berries (57%) came from the vineyard Cramant Grand Cru, where 50% of the plants are older than 40 years, and at two sites grow vines planted in 1911 and 1913. 30% of the crop was brought to the Grand Cru Chouilly, and 13% - from Cruis Premier Cru, berries which give the wine complexity and longevity.
To preserve the typical characteristics of the terroir and the special taste of berries collected from old vines, the initial and subsequent malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at 25-125 hectoliters. Contains exclusively reserve wines in bottles, tanks and not that enables to maintain freshness of the natural beverage. The wine was bottled in May 2007 and matured on the lees for about 5 years.
Wonderful champagne "Special Club" Grands Terroirs de Chardonnay is recommended to drink during the period from 2014 to 2026 years.
