Wine "Pian del Masso", Chianti DOCG, 2010
Reviews of purchase "Pian del Masso", Chianti DOCG, 2010
Wine saturated and bright ruby-red color.
The taste of the wine is full, rich, fruity, with a soft texture, very pleasant and harmonious.
Intense and complex aroma of the wine reveals strong notes of ripe berries (cherries and raspberries), also perceptible elegant floral shades of violet and iris.
The wine goes well with poultry, grilled or stewed meat, cheeses.
Unusual method of vinification wine "Pian del Masso": part of the traditional grape passes for red varieties vinification with maceration at controlled temperature for 10 days and frequent pumping of the must in order to ensure a smoother taste and fragrant aroma. Another, smaller part of the grape vines taken from a "overripe" state, is placed in the fermenters that already have almost finished wine. Fermentation is resumed and the result is a very slow and steady fermentation, which gives the "rich", structured and very complex product that can be stored for a long time.
