Pheasant's Tears - a small winery, the creation of which was the result of a joint effort of the American artist and sculptor John Vurdemana, Georgian Gela Patalishvili and Swedes Eric Andermo, Jakob and Henrik Mёrndal Kallerstrand. Wunderman, inspirer and head of the winery, not only sincerely engaged in the wine business, but also learned the Georgian language to better understand the ancient cultural heritage of the country and his wife - a native of Georgia. "We are engaged in the restoration of heritage wine, so do all very seriously," - says John. For the production of wines used only autochthonous, indigenous grape variety and vintage, traditional winemaking methods. The wines are fermented and aged in clay jars Kvevri, dug into the soil.
