In 1997, entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti and his daughter Francesca looking for a place to create a winery. Resorting to the help of the famous Italian enologist Attilio Senza, they chose the land of Maremma. The company was named "Peter", which translated from Latin means "stone". Their soils are divided into three layers: the top - lime-rocky layer of tectonic origin, medium rich in manganese and metals, and the third, the most profound, rich in limestone rocks, providing future guilt elegance and flavor.
