Reviews of purchase Penley Estate, "Hyland"
The wine is intense garnet purple.
The wine has a rich, rich, bright fruity taste with excellent balance, rounded tannins and a surprisingly long spicy-woody finish.
The aromatic composition of the wine is rich in notes of raspberries and strawberries, which are revealed against the background of exquisite halftones of mocha, anise, dried herbs, vanilla and wood.
The wine will make a harmonious pair with beef steak, beef, lamb, lamb, as well as excellent paired with mature cheeses.
"Hyland" - a rich, perfectly balanced dry red wine made from Shiraz grapes grown in excellent climatic conditions. Thanks to the cool climate, the berries ripen slowly, saturated with aroma and color. Harvesting is carried out after the berries have reached optimum maturity. At the winery, the fruits are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Wine is aged in French oak barrels, half of which are new, for 12 months. Highland has excellent storage potential - at least 10 years.
Penley Estate was born from the union of two innovative wine families in South Australia - Penfold and Tolly. Property owned by the Tolly family was founded by Eng, Beck and Kim Tolly. They bought a plot of land in Kunavorra in 1988 and planted it with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, thus laying the foundation for the future company. The winery was built in 1995. One of the key features of the company are its vineyards, planted on the soils of "Terra Rossa", which maximally reflect the terroir of the region.
Today, the company has grown significantly in size and includes a modern winery surrounded by 200 acres of vineyards. In tandem with winemaker Kate Goodman, the company creates in Kunavorra a new, softer and more elegant style that was not previously inherent in this region. Today, the Penley Estate is one of the most progressive wineries and the top producer in the region.
