Wine Palacio de Bornos Verdejo, 2010
Reviews of purchase Palacio de Bornos Verdejo, 2010
The wine is straw-yellow color with fresh green hues.
The taste of the wine is full, well-structured, dense, rich, fruity, with fresh acidity and a lingering aftertaste.
In the extremely rich aroma of wine felt tones of tropical fruit, tangerine, lemon, lemon grass and thyme, as well as typical of the variety Verdejo fruity notes, shades of anise and minerals.
Great wine as an aperitif, perfect at any time of the day, is perfectly combined with tapas and snacks, pasta al pesto, tuna fish with lemon juice or lime.
Winery "Palacio de Bornos" was founded in 1870. At the end of the XIX century its wines were well known throughout the Castille, and in the XX century wine successfully entered the national and international levels. In 1976, the fifth generation of the family Sanz - Antonio Sanz - bought a winery and started a new history of the "Palacio de Bornos", built in Rueda new winery. Today the winery - one of the most famous names from the Rueda appellation, its wines are present in all world markets. The winery has 220 hectares of vineyards in the cities of Rueda, Polloss and La Seca. Soil vineyards consist of calcareous-clay subsoil and gravelly top layer with a high content of boulders, which gives them a good aeration and drainage - ideal characteristics for successful growth of the vine. Palacio de Bornos continuously conducts research projects in the field of clonal selection, rootstock and feeding on the basis of their experimental plots, the purpose of which is to find the optimal combination of grapes and the best soil for it in order to continue to receive the best wines. Positive results of studies on a small area in the event of success apply to the entire vineyard.
