Wine Paitin, "Campolive", Barbera D'Alba Superiore DOC, 2013
Reviews of purchase Paitin, "Campolive", Barbera D'Alba Superiore DOC, 2013
Wine of intense ruby red color with purple rim.
The wine is full, soft, harmonious taste with refreshing acidity and well-integrated, silky tannins. Expressive fruit notes are felt mainly bouquet and continue in the long aftertaste.
In a surprisingly complex, rich aroma of wine at first sounded notes of red berries, followed by hints of vanilla and oak.
The wine goes well with stews and grilled meats, game, poultry meat by the rich sauces, seasoned cheeses.

The expected maturity of the wine: 2014-2021 years.
Paitin - the oldest winery in Piedmont, founded back in 1796, when Benedetto Elia purchased the manor, a wine cellar and vineyards of the famous winemaker Luigi Pellissero. Son Benedetto - Giuseppe significantly expanded the area of family vineyards and acquired the underground cellar, created in the XV century. In 1893 it was released the first wine "Sori Paitin" Barbaresco, and since 1898 the company began to export wine of its own production on the foreign market.
Full activity resumed at the winery in 1965, Secondo Paschero Eliya, who built a new wine cellar, gradually transplanted vines and purchased new plots of vineyards. His sons Giovanni and Silvano - the current owners of the company - together with his father successfully continue the family business, cultivating 17 hectares of its own vineyards. In 1997, the brothers opened another direction - agritourism, which allows everybody to enjoy the beauty of the Langhe. Today Paitin is one of the leading manufacturers of first-class wines of Piedmont. Their red and white wines of Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Barbera and Dolcetto has repeatedly been awarded the prestigious "Three glasses" from a reputable critic Gambero Rosso.
