The wine has a deep, rich red.
Seductive, rich, elegant wine charms balanced structure, good acidity, round tannins and great fruit notes. Completes the flavoring scale long, fascinating finish, with hints of chocolate.
Multifaceted, generous and fresh aroma of the wine reveals notes of ripe fruit, dominated by cherry, black berries, figs on a background of light nuances of mint, violet, caramel and coffee.
Created for the enjoyment of wine, in addition to cheese, white and red meat.
Interesting Facts
Paco Garcia, Crianza, 2011 - red wine, created from grapes Tempranillo and Garnacha. Vintage wine harvested from three vineyards: "Santa Ana", "Las Canteras" and "Pareja 3 Markisiz" along the river Lenz. Vines with an average age of 20-30 years grow on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 470 meters above sea level. Crop is harvested by hand and sent to the winery for sorting. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The result is a surprisingly fresh and fruity wine with a beautiful structure and rounded, velvety taste with hints of oak. It is juicy and delicate wine combines modern fruity taste and noble classical style of red wine. Produced wine in small editions - only 3,000 bottles a year.
Wine Paco Garcia, Kriansa has already gained honors at international competitions:
- Silver medal at the competition "Decanter World Wine Awards" in 2012 and 2013 in London;
- A gold medal at the "AWC-2012" in Vienna;
- The seventh position in the list of the best wines of Rioja on the version of "Everyday Wine Guide 2012/2013", Spain.
Rioja - the most famous wine region of Spain, got its name from the river Oja (Okha), dividing it into two parts. This area is framed by high mountain ranges, to protect her from the cold winds of the Atlantic Ocean. Due to this there has formed a favorable microclimate for viticulture, much warmer and drier than in other parts of northern Spain. History of Rioja wine has approximately two thousand years, with roots in ancient Roman times. However, only in recent decades wine region are actively delivered far beyond Spain.
