Interesting Facts
"Meridies" - a dry white wine made from the harvest of 25-year-old vines Garganega varieties planted in the system Pergola and Guyot. It boasts bright aromas of honeysuckle and melon, elegant taste and a dry aftertaste. The grapes for the creation of "Meridies" harvested in late October. After soft pressing the must is fermented with the addition of a special type of wine yeast with regular stirring of the sediment. After the end of fermentation, the wine is aged on the lees until March.
"Meridies" vintage 2011 received the Gold Star of the competition "Vinibuoni d'Italia" in 2013, and the 2009 vintage was awarded a bronze medal at the "Decanter World Wine Awards, 2012".

Producer's description
Nardello winery is a family business for the past several centuries. The first record of the family Nardello refers to the 1500 th year. Notarial acts of 6 May 1608 indicate the purchase of property, carried out by Leonardo and Giovanni Nardello.
Today, the fourth generation of the family in the face of a brother and sister of Daniel and Federica Nardello owns an invaluable heritage - vineyards with a total area of 14 hectares with an average age of some vines more than 50 years. With the aim of producing higher-quality wines in an old winery Monteforte d'Alpone in 2010 was renovated. Philosophy economy is minimal interference in the process of vinification. Annually produce 20,000 bottles of excellent, magical, reflecting the terroir of the region Soave wines, which Federica speaks as of their children.
