Whiskey Mossburn, "Vintage Casks" No.4 Teaninich was distilled at the Tininch Distillery in 2007. After that, the whiskey was aged 10 years in oak barrels. Bottling of whiskey on November 30, 2017 without cold filtration and additional staining at a barrel fortress of 58% was carried out by the company Mossburn.
The Tininic Distillery has been leading its history since 1817, when the first factory buildings were erected not far from Alness and Cromarty's Hugh Munro Bay. After this, the distillery was rebuilt twice: in 1899 and in 1970. In 1887, Teaninich was noted as the first distillery, lit by electricity and equipped with a telephone connection from all located north of Inverness. Most modern distillery buildings date back to the 1970s. In 1985, the owner closed the plant, but re-started the production of whiskey in 1990. In 1884, Teaninich whiskey sales for the year amounted to 74,000 gallons. Currently, the distillery is owned by Diageo Corporation, and its annual capacity reaches 1750000 gallons of products.
Mossburn appeared on the UK market more than 5 years ago. The main activity of the company is the distillation and mixing of alcoholic beverages. Whiskey, represented by Scottish distilleries, produced in two unique categories, each of which will find its connoisseur.
A distinctive feature of the line "Signature Casks" - the use of special barrels for aging before bottling. With this technology, whiskey acquires a unique taste and aroma. A series of "Vintage Casks" will appreciate the true collectors, as it includes the best single malt releases, each with its own inimitable character and rich history.
To create its products Mossburn uses spirits from several major distilleries in Scotland. In 2014, the company began construction of a malt distillery "Torveg" on the Isle of Skye. The project was designed by the Edinburgh architecture bureau Simpson & Brown. The exterior of the building is presented in the traditional style of the buildings of the beginning of the XIX century. Since the distillery was built in one of the most beautiful places in Scotland, it contributed not only to the development of the production of whiskey on the island, but also to attract tourists. For this, the plant "Torabhaig" was even equipped with a hotel complex.
