Wine red ruby color.
The wine has a wonderfully balanced taste with pronounced tannins and an elegant long finish with light mineral tones.
Complex aroma of the wine is filled with notes of wild cherry, blackberry and spice tones of wet earth, underbrush and light skin tones.
The wine goes well with game birds with berry sauce, a dish of mushrooms, rabbit, braised in wine.

Red wine Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru "Les Loups" is made from Pinot Noir, gathered in the vineyard class Premier Cru "Les Loups" and, in part, from a young 25-year-old vines in the vineyard Grand Cru "Clos des Lambrays". "Les Loups" in French means "wolf". Their image of the coat of arms Domain de Lambre.
Harvest Wine Morey-Saint-Denis Premier Cru "Le Loup" manually. After destemming partial fermentation process begins in stainless steel containers for 18-20 days with the use of natural yeast. Winery Domaine des Lambrays named for the largest vineyard belonging to the domain, - Clos des Lambrays (Clos de Lambre). First mention of this ancient vineyard date back to the year 1363 in the sovereign acts of the notorious Abbey of Citeaux. In 1789, after the French Revolution, the region enclosed by a low wall, was divided between 74 owners and during the XIX century, it gradually bought two negotsiantskie family - Rodier and Joly.
In 1938, the vineyard, at the time qualify as Premiers Crus, was purchased by the family Cosson. The new owners soon lost interest in winemaking, but, nevertheless, the wine vintage 40s is still appreciated by many connoisseurs. Vineyards without due care and attention are old and no longer bear fruit.
In 1979, the Domaine de Lambre purchased brothers Roland and Seye de Shambyur that restored vineyards, replacing old with new planting. Thanks to the efforts of the oenologist Thierry Broin, which is currently the chief winemaker economy, in 1981 the vineyard Clos de Lambre received the status of Grand Cru.
