Wine Montevetrano, "Core" Bianco, Campania IGT, 2017
Reviews of purchase Montevetrano, "Core" Bianco, Campania IGT, 2017
The color of the wine is golden-straw.
The elegant, full-bodied and fresh taste of wine is dominated by the tones of minerals, the nuances of citrus fruits, dried herbs and summer apples are traced. The aftertaste is clear and long.
The intense aroma of wine is revealed by a bouquet of shades of ripe fruit and light nuances of haze.
Wine is recommended to serve with seafood, mussels, oysters and other mollusks. It fits well with fish, vegetable salads, rice dishes and snacks.
"Core" Bianco became a logical continuation of the line of red wines "Core". It was created from the varieties Greco and Fiano, grown in the vineyards of San Cipriano to the east of Salerno. The grapes underwent prolonged maceration, which took 28 days. Then followed 12-day fermentation in stainless vats and final malolactic fermentation in oak containers. Exposure was carried out for 10 months in new French barriques, and 6 months in bottles. This technology provided the wine "Korau" White unusual elegance, noticeable mineral shades and pronounced territorial character.
The name of the wine is "Core", which means "core" in Italian, and in the local dialect of Campania it means "heart" and is pronounced "cortex". Not only the name, but the concept of the design of the wine bottle is subordinated to the main goal of the creators: to produce wine that personifies life. The front label is made in a laconic design - on a white background juicy watercolor with an elegant careless stroke of a stroke of the heart. Minimalism of color, understandable to each symbol of love and life - nothing superfluous. The "Core" wine is characteristic, terrestrial, daring and at the same time harmonious. It is a wine that has a heart full of life.
The Monteverano farm has emerged as a result of the bold experiment of a group of friends, united by a love of wine, which began with the legendary Bordeaux wines of the time. The basis for creating the winery was an old farm, once owned by the Bourbons and redeemed in the 40s. Here, fruit, nuts, wine and oil were produced exclusively for the needs of the family. In 1985, about two hectares of land was allocated for planting grapes of the varieties Aglianico Taurasi, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. And in 1991, the first bottles of wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) and Aljanico (30%) were produced. They were intended only for a narrow circle of friends. But, to everyone's surprise, the wine surpassed all expectations. Then the old friends Sylvia Imparato and Ricardo Cotarella, who headed the company, found the ideal blend formula as a result of the experiments: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (30%) and Alyaniko Taurasi (10%). Since then, the wine "Montevetrano" takes the leading position of ratings.
Montevethrano today is a small but firm company standing on its feet, producing its limited edition wine (there are only 30,000 bottles produced per year) and exporting it all over the world. The company values relations with customers very much. Therefore, careful control of each bottle is an indispensable condition of production. Quality has been given special attention since the very first day of wine production.
