"Montessora", 2013 - elegant and very aromatic wine, created from Cortese grapes from the vineyard "Montessori" in Rovereto di Gavi. The vines are grown on gravel soils interspersed with iron ore and alluvial clay. Stocking density - 4,000 plants per hectare. The grapes for wine production in the company Tenuta La Giustiniana going entirely by hand, towards the end of September. After careful selection of the berries are soft pressing and fermentation at a strictly controlled temperature. Bottling takes place in the spring.

Cortese grapes has a long history, because it grows in the region Gavi from the 1600s, showing the whole terroir of this scenic area. Cortese has a dry taste with a crisp, fresh, flinty acidity thanks to soils rich in minerals with a high content of iron and gravel.
