Red wine Monteraponi, Chianti Classico is created from grapes Sangiovese and Canaiolo harvested from 15-year-old vines. The wort is vinified in glazed concrete tanks, where no additives and temperature control, are spontaneous fermentation maceration and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 16 months in large French oak barrels and another month - in concrete tanks. Wine is bottled unfiltered and unrefined.
Vineyards Monteraponi estates are located mainly in the valley at an altitude of Arbi 420-570 meters above sea level and covers only 10 hectares. Wine farms produce mainly of Sangiovese (90%), to which is added a small amount of grape varieties Canaiolo and Colorino. Fermentation takes place in cement wine baths, and endurance - in large oak barrels. To date, the line of wines produced by the estate, including wine Chianti Classico, two variants of wines Chianti Classico Riserva, and grappa, pink, white, red and dessert wines.
